Base-Line, Inc. Announces the Ability Beyond Disability “Base-Line Fund”

Shelton, CT – April 12th, 2005 – The graphic arts manufacturer, is pleased to announce the creation of the “Base-Line Fund” – a philanthropic effort with Ability Beyond Disability of Connecticut to provide basic needs for mentally and physically challenged adults in the Ability Beyond Disability assisted living program.

Base-Line’s Chief Executive Officer, Howard Harper, shares a long and productive history with Ability Beyond Disability and has been an active volunteer the past 10 years. “The men and women in ABD’s assisted living program are in great need of life’s basic necessities be it a warm pair of gloves, clothes, or a mattress,” explains Mr. Harper. “State cutbacks are hurting programs like Ability Beyond Disability and its up to the community to give back and that’s exactly what Base-Line is doing with the Base-Line fund.”

Based out of Danbury, CT, Ability Beyond Disability provides housing, work, transportation and medical needs to enable individuals impaired by illness, disability, or injury to live on their own either independently or in group homes. Currently, they have over 300 clients in the program that will be eligible to receive goods from the Base-Line fund.

“It’s companies like Base-Line that really make a difference in our budget needs” states Thomas H. Fanning, President/CEO of Ability Beyond Disability.

In the coming months, Base-Line is looking to create a similar fund in Illinois, where Base-Line’s factory and warehouse is based.
